hard resetting the phone

just used my phone an hour ago then i put back in the same password and the phone isnt taking it. i dont have a cable to flash a rom and i dont have a sd card reader on this computer can you manually hard reset somehow? thanks

remove the battery, put it back in, hold down call and end, then press the power button. follow on screen prompts from there.

did what you said. held the two buttons though the whole boot up process and also tried it the other way by letting the buttons go once the tp2 screen came on. both times it just went back to the password screeen

sorry i think im doing it corectly. i take the battery out put it back in then hold call and end. i push the power button while im holding the call and end button. also tried it just holding the end and call button and releasing once i push the power button. sorry for the hassle

theres no other way to do it. if its not working your process isnt right. here is the sprint pdf user guide for the tp2. page 124, "how to perform a hard reset.

To perform a hard reset:
1. With the device turned off, press and hold the Talk and End keys first, and then press and hold the Power
button until you see the following message on the screen:
2. Release the Talk key, End key, and Power button.
3. Press the Volume Up button to restore the device to factory default status.
– or –
Press any other front panel key to cancel the hard reset and just power on the device
