WiFi under Sprint Lovers ROM

I can't connect using Spring Lovers ROM. I tried deleting the ROM, wiping the memory using task29, and reinstalling. Same problem. Tried a warm reboot. The Pro2 sees the network, recognizes correctly the SSID and the channel, but doesn't connect. I think at the minimum it's not successfully getting the IP address from the networks HDCP server. The network connects fine with other devices. Any suggestions as to what to do?

Technically, you are correct, of course. But there are 347 posts in the thread and, since all messages are replies, there are no tags and no unique title. Therefore the chances it'll be spotted by somebody who knows the answer is fairly slim. Also the issue may not be ROM related.

In fact, I have discovered the answer, and it may apply to all Roms. It develops that the problem is related to the Slingbox mobile player. Removing the player appears to have solved the problem.
