class 6 is 3 times faster, you will notice a faster loading time when you load things from your sd card. When you transfer files it's much faster.

i was happy with my 8gb class 6 micro sd card until it died...

I personally dont have a problem with class 2 cards. I use my phone as an ipod sort of thing, and occasionally video. I think a class 2 card is fine.
