Need Help! Just Got Used Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 on ebay. Cant send or receive MMS!!

What ROM are you running? If I were you I would consider a hard reset and starting over or flashing a new ROM of your choice and following the necessary instructions to get MMS working.

I dont really know the rom. I think its called affliction Arsoft or it says Affliction Sense 2.5 WWE on the device information where it says ROM VERSION. I just got the phone and I dont know how to flash and stuff. All I wanted was to get MMS and now i cant get MMS or SMS. I think I have to uninstall the CXYLM cab thing but it wont uninstall. and whats a hard reset?

Hard resetting will bring the phone back to "stock" for whatever ROM you're running and then you will have to load your contacts, applications, tweaks, etc. Sounds like that's what you need to do at this point. Do a bit of reading and start from scratch. If you do hard reset, make sure you back up any contacts you've loaded onto the phone so you can easily reload them after you reset the device.

Yes, definitely back up. There are many ways to back up: active sync, microsoft myphone, pim backup, etc. If you have any questions about backing up, please ask. To do a hard reset, go to start>settings>system>clear storage and follow the prompts.

if you hard reset or reflash, you may have to SIM unlock the phone again to use with t-mobile (I'm not 100% on that)

also, it won't erase your SD just your device data, my preferred back-up is PIM backup, it's fast, simple and works.

Do yourself a really big favor.. PLEASE study the how too's before you begin flashing etc...

You might wanna try running some cleaning programs, the old files might not have got uninstalled correctly. I like using SK Tools Auto Clean. As well, I use SK Tools or TMS Uninstaller for uninstalling as the stock windows one doesn't always clear all the old files.
