Re: Battery usage--Sprint 6.5 OEM versus mightyrom

A friend has the EVO and its a known problem that the battery drains like crazy with auto-syncing Facebook with contacts.
When he disabled this his battery went from 1/2 a day to over 1 day (he has about 1000 'friends').

I have a TP2 with MR SE installed.
I set the contacts-Facebook sync to manual, (with only 300 friends) I now get almost 2 full days of voice, web, email where before i got almost 1 (morning to evening, but not night).

As a side note, my office is in a terrible signal zone. When I am in good zone, i get 2.5 days.

Point is - try disabling contacts auto-sync with facebook!

I have been using Mighty Rom so far so good compare to the OEM rom. At the end of the day I still have 60% battery.

Anyone have that 60 second data disconnect cab available? I searched the favorite cabs thread and it doesn't appear to be in there. Or will it make any kind of noticeable difference on mightyrom?

I advised you not to use that 60 second data disconnect cab. People (and my personal experience) encountered so many problem. It is difficult to fix and I end up has to hard reset the device. If you insist you want the cab, I can look for it.
