How about you copy some big files on the card and see if you are able to copy them back to the computer and they are readable

Re: 32 gb microsd card

UPDATE: Seller insists that the item has shipped and that despite having his eBay account closed I should not worry. We shall see.

Re: 32 gb microsd card

Surprise! My card showed up. Even after eBay already refunded my money. It has a full 30gb of storage space and formatted as such. The packaging looks to be authentic except that it says it is a class 2 card, but on the card itself it says class 4. I'm guessing it is a Chinese knock-off, but the card is definitely 32gb in size. My only problem is that I copied all the stuff over from my 16gb card, but I can't seem to make it work in the phone. It reads fine and everything is visible in File Explorer, but when I try to run any of my programs that are installed on the card I get a "not Found" error. I tried rebooting, but then all my shortcuts to programs on the card turn into default icons and nothing works. I'm guessing the phone does not recognize the card as being the same card. How can I get the phone to recognize the new card as though it were the old card? Do I have to reinstall all my programs again?

Based on what I've read about the knock-off flash cards sold on eBay, I'd be surprised if you got it to work correctly at all.

I'd try taking it out and putting it into an adapter and then inserting it into a card reader or slot in a laptop or PC and reformating it. Format it fat32 with the regular long format not quick format and then try putting your data from your other card back on it and then see if it works.

Looks like you're right. Formatted several times and tried copying things over from my 16gb card. Sometimes it shows things copying OK, sometimes it copies over nothing more than the directory structure, sometimes it copies nothing. The card is totally unreliable. Funny thing is it always shows as being 32gb in Properties and I can see it in the device, but copied stuff either disappears or the folders come up empty. Glad I got my money refunded. eBay really needs to do a better job with Chinese merchants. I wouldn't trust any of them.

Did that several times. Here's what happens: the copying process goes along as normal. When finished I can look at the folder and see the contents. Looks fine. Put it into the device and most of my links in the Start menu either don't work (Not signed or component missing error) and/or the icon reverts to the standard icon (meaning the device can not find the program the icon points to. Put it back in the reader and into the PC and while the file structure is there, most of the folders are now empty. Total ripoff, but at least eBay made good on the refund. It was worth a shot.
