My only problem is that I copied all the stuff over from my 16gb card, but I can't seem to make it work in the phone. It reads fine and everything is visible in File Explorer, but when I try to run any of my programs that are installed on the card I get a "not Found" error. I tried rebooting, but then all my shortcuts to programs on the card turn into default icons and nothing works. I'm guessing the phone does not recognize the card as being the same card. How can I get the phone to recognize the new card as though it were the old card? Do I have to reinstall all my programs again?

I'd try taking it out and putting it into an adapter and then inserting it into a card reader or slot in a laptop or PC and reformating it. Format it fat32 with the regular long format not quick format and then try putting your data from your other card back on it and then see if it works.
