Might I be bold and ask what are the symptoms of a ROM that hasn't been fully erased? I have always thought winMo was buggy, it would be great if this took some bugs away.

Thats the purpose of task29, although I did have it one time NOT boot up the phone after using it.. Nothings full proof.
You dont need to reflash to stock, just replash your new rom again. Sometimes the overwrites dont take right. Unless you screwed with the radio you shouldnt need to reflash to stock. I learned on my computers that when it just gets stupid.. Zero it out (program that writes one's and zero's to the drive whipping out your current boot sector & all) and have a new boot sector set. You'd be surprised what can be left behind sometimes.
