Does the TP2 have a MAX storage limit on Micro SD Cards?
just asking before I drop some money on the biggest micro sd I can get..

When I had my Apache (PPC-6700) there was supposedly a limit of 4gb. that limit did not last as it was overcome (cab was available) within what seemed like merely days from the price dropping below about 30 dollars. Currently, the 32gb cards are around 50; I suspect we do not have long to wait.

yea, its 32 gb, but they arent quite mass products. should see drops in a couple months, 64 are supposedly in the works as well. got a 16 myself for 15 bucks...

i doubt 64gb will work on the TP2 as they are having to change the standard (will be SDXC instead of SDHC)
blame microsoft, as the real reason they are doing it is because windows wont format anything bigger than 32gb to FAT32 (even though FAT32 itself has a limit of 2tb) so anything using SDXC will have to be able to read exFAT (AKA FAT64)

yeah, the SDHC specs have a limit of 32gb. I don't know if the card slot could be software upgraded to read SDXC cards if and when they are out (probably not), but there will be no SDHC card bigger than 32gb
