CHTEditor and Sense 2.5 help!

After uninstalling CHTEditor and Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.7.0 the menus and functions on the Home screen of 2.5 don't function. For me to change the background i have to go all the way to the settings tab and do it from there.
Is there anyway for me to be able to uninstall these two things and not have my home screen be useless with out them?
