I've demo'd the onscreen keyboard on the HD2.
It SUCKS.

NOTHING will replace the accuracy and speed of a physical keyboard.

A Evo with a keyboard would be more than manageable. I used to carry the Sharp Wizard in my front pocket of my pants/jeans/shorts EVERYWHERE I went and I NEVER had and issue.

As soon as they have a working media player that plays .avi files (coreplayer I am talking to you) I will have no reason to stay on windows mobile. I HATE converting files and most of my videos are .avi. Other than that, nothing is holding me back.

if thats all that holding you back.. theres a free 27% DISCOUNT ON THIS SITE, go get it, better than your 10%.. and pick 3 is something you can just ask for and theyll give it to you for free.. lots of us have pick 3 and it was just given to us

Unless there is a direct sync interface, I can't see how I'll ever get to Android.

Also, I heard that you could not make voice command calls from a bluetooth headset on Android. Has this been resolved?

These two issues were show-stoppers for me. My wife has an Eris and is pretty happy with it, but I would have gone crazy if the TP2 weren't available. And yes, the keyboard makes all the difference in the world.

If Android was running on the TP2 with a Snapdragon processor and without the above problems, yes, I would jump to Android.
Yes, this is my problem, synching with Outlook and basically corporate support... editing MS documents.

Want to stay on Sprint (corporate deal, up for new contract soon....) so I've been waiting for a better phone than the TP2. Apparently, I'm not alone...... Evo looks like it could be the straw that ....
