weird tomtom7 characters

anyone ever notice on tomtom when you try and put in a address either with the hard keyboard or soft on the tp2 that sometime weird characters come up is there a way to stop this from happening

Do you have any non-default language packs active? Or are you running a ROM for another language? It sounds like your keyboard mapping may be pointing to that of a different region.
