Opera security error when accessing gmail

I'm getting a strange security error when I use any google service with an ssl connection (gmail, cal, apps)

Other non-google sites are fine with https, and gmail works if I use internet explorer.

I'm new to the TP2, but these sites all worked on my old TP in opera.

running stock 6.1 on sprint
tried soft resets, and poked around in opera:config but didnt see anything that looked like it would pertain.

Any help is appreciated!
