Slide Protector

There are plastic stick-on protectors on the top edges of the keyboard. Are these really necessary? Are they replaceable? If so, who sells them? See attached picture.

I removed them from my TP2, only thing is I have some marks from where the phone slides. Mind you I got this phone early september, so it has had a good amount of usage and is expected. As far as i'm aware, there are no replacements for them.

They're not necessary, nor do they hurt to stay on. I took mine off and there's a slight mark for where the slider track is. I would just go with what you prefer.
