Re: Car Bluetooth weirdness
Check with the dealarship and see if there is a update for the Bluetooth option in the car. Also look in the manual to see if your phone is compatible with the onboard bluetooth...some cars work, some don't with different devices.
I don't think the ROM on the phone is going to have any affect on how his car controls work. |

Re: Car Bluetooth weirdness
ROM has a lot to do with it. The Sprint stock 6.1 had a weird bluetooth stack issue and I had that same problem in my car. The new 6.5 fixed the issue.

Re: Car Bluetooth weirdness
As has been mentioned in many threads, the bluetooth stack that came with WM6.1 in this device isn't the standard MS stack. Many bluetooth devices have not been able to disconnect/end a call. IIRC, the various 6.5 updates have fixed this issue, as have various custom ROM's.
Edit: meatgel beat me to it...

Re: Car Bluetooth weirdness
I am using the EnergyROM 6.5, but it's fairly old. What struck me weird is that it worked fine for a day or 2. If it was an issue with BT stack, wouldn't it just never work?

Re: Car Bluetooth weirdness
seems like it wouldn't be the stack if it worked fine for a day or two, but mine actually worked intermittently with the old stack. You should try updating your ROM first. Seems the chefs have all updated their BT stacks since the UCCS/Sprint 6.5 ROMs came out. The new stack makes a huge improvement with my car system.
