phone reporting incorrect carrier

i have just flashed EnergyRom to my verizon TP2. it works great except its a verizon phone and it says im on sprint. im sure the fix it very simple. what am i doing wrong?

everytime i connect to a data service the phones carrier changes to sprint. i want to use verizons 3g network not sprints EVDO network.

if your phone works then there isnt a problem.

go to energyrom's thread... they prolly can help you there.

maybe need to run the carrier customization, like smiz said, go to that thread.

Or you probably downloaded the Sprint cooked ROM instead of Verizon's from that person...I would check on that first.
