Re: /½åöpj±.└⌡╝
when you reformatted via the computer, did yuo do a quick format, also did it give you the option to change the file system? it should be fat32, not ntfs or exfat.

Re: SD Card shows corrupt file names
Yes, I did do a quick format, and used FAT32 with allocation size of 32kb. Sorry for the title, I thought it looked more interesting that way Thanks for changing it.

Re: SD Card shows corrupt file names
Try running chkdsk on your SD card (via the computer). Once that's done, do a full format again (also via the computer).
The difference between a quick format and full format is that the latter checks every sector and finds those that are damaged. It then writes to the file system to NOT place any data on the corrupted sectors. I hope you have backups of your files... if not, back everything up now.

Re: SD Card shows corrupt file names
here is a windows app i use to format memory cards. it's designed by a subdivision of Panasonic.
extract to windows desktop, run the SDFormatter.exe as admin.. it's a small little app specifically for memory cards.

Re: SD Card shows corrupt file names
I tried the full format, and I tried running chkdsk before and after the full format. Chkdisk found nothing wrong with the card, and neither did the full format. I would think that if the card was corrupted that Chkdsk would at least find it right? I'm trying the sdformatter program now, what is the "format size adjustment" option? Should that be on or off? Any other ideas?
