Re: touch pro2 ActiveSync icon
Quote:
1. Start ActiveSync on your Pocket PC. 2. Tap "Menu", then "Add Server Source" 3. Configure a server source with a fake IP address, id and password - you can enter anything you like, it doesn't matter 4. After that you will notice that "Menu -> Schedule..." item is no longer greyed out. 5. Change your schedule to manual under both fields. The article indicated that I could delete the fake server after successfully changing the schedule to manual but I've found that I need to keep it on. |

Re: touch pro2 ActiveSync icon
You're welcome. By the way, whenever you restart your TP2 or sync your TP2 with your computer, Active sync will pop up again. All you need to do is to close it by using task manager and it'll stay off.

Re: touch pro2 ActiveSync icon
Has this been resolved? I have 2 HTC Touch Pro2's using the Enery ROM dated March 8, 2011. One is exhibiting this Activesync icon behavior and the other one is just fine. I tried doing the steps mentioned above, but it didn't help.

Re: touch pro2 ActiveSync icon
I've never ever had this happen in my entire 17 month run with a WM phone (10/09-5/10 with TP, 5/10-3/11 with TP2). probably because 1) I didn't rely on AS or 2) didn't use energy rom.

Sounds like you should talk to your rom chef.
