Re: On Spnt, if I drop my TEP will it change my SERO plan?

Wow thanks for the math and tips guys. I added a new TP2 I bought off of Craigslist two weeks back for $300. Didn't consider getting TEP but I'm tempted now...

Um, one question, how come the TP2 isn't listed on this certificate? Just the TP1.

From the Tier2 list:

BlackBerry® 7100i
smartphone
BlackBerry® Pearl™
8130 smartphone
BlackBerry® Curve™
8330 smartphone
BlackBerry® Curve™
8350i smartphone
BlackBerry® 8830
World Edition smartphone
MOTO Q™ 9c
Palm® Centro™
Treo™ 755p by Palm®
Palm® Treo™ 800w
Samsung® ACE™
HTC Touch PRO™
HTC Touch Diamond™
Samsung Instinct®
That document was produced before the TP2 was.

I have on top of this TEP for $7.00

So, is the TEP worth it any more?

Second question, if I drop TEP, will it extend, bump me out of SERO to Everything plus, or some other plan?

Thanks in advance.
Dude,
you should not even question it!!
It is totaly worth it, the PPC has many things that can go wrong and with TEP you can rest a bit!!
If your phone ever has problem and can't be fixed they will replace it free of charge, that is if you didn't drop it in water or drove over or dropped it down the stairs or off of a building. Well you get the point.
Just look at it as a piece of mind buddy!!!

http://www.nextel.com/en/services/se...tectionsol_hub

tep info...

tep is sooo worth it! i have a tp insured now but if it gets magically lost, i can get a tp2 or hero for my deductable.

tep is non-contractual, meaning it can be removed free of penalty or change of contract/plan

tep fixes warranty type issues for free and user-fault issues for a small deductable, also...
if you never ever want to change plans or extend your contract, keep tep and you can get a new phone whenever your model is out of stock and somehow gets lost.

TEP is definately worth it for high priced devices like the TP2, hero, palm devices etc. If you have a dumb phone its not worth it.

I got 1 part of TEP, the ERP(Eqipment Replacement Program) which cost $4/mo and that's all I need.
