On Spnt, if I drop my TEP will it change my SERO plan?

I searched first, found some old discussions about SERO, some about TEP but not where the two were linked...

I have a SERO plan, $30/month, 500 minutes (NEVER go near my minutes)
I have a TP2
I have on top of this TEP for $7.00

So, is the TEP worth it any more?

Second question, if I drop TEP, will it extend, bump me out of SERO to Everything plus, or some other plan?

Thanks in advance.

no. should not affect tor sero price. although i wouldnt drop tep until you can buy a tp2 for less than 184 dollars. if you pay 7 dollars per month for a year, thats $84. plus the deductible, makes a tp2 replacement $184 if you claim once a year. right now they are going on ebay or craigslist for the 300 dollar range.

Nice math but does not include probability of chances. By your logic, you would pay a premium of 8000$ for a 6 year old car?

The rule of thumb is to pay not more than 10% of the value of your item as premium. TP2 costs 600$ (m-nus depreciation) today, so 6$/month is probably the max I would pay as prem - BTW they charge 4$ for service/repair and 3$ for accident.

lol no it wont affect the plan or contract, you just wont be able to add it back on unless you buy a new phone or pay for repair. I would def keep TEP until price goes down.

Hey, don't mind being laughed at if I get the correct information.

Now, is this documented somewhere?

That would be really helpful.

thanks for the answer.

awesome, thanks a lot.

Um, one question, how come the TP2 isn't listed on this certificate? Just the TP1.

getting insurance is easy. if you have a crappy old phone laying around, call sprint and tell them you lost your phone. (wont matter to them since you dont have insurance)
put your old phone back on your plan for a day. call them and tell them you got another phone and want to replace your current phone. you are now within your first 30 days on a new device and they will let you add insurance. in store they want to inspect the device. online or on the phone, they will just offer it to you.

bro, you don't even have to call in. You can do an ESN swap online. Swap to your old phone then 12hrs or more do the esn swap again to the TP2......now add insurance

Very creative ... Thanks for the tip. Didn't know it could be done this way.
