refurbished touch pro2's

has anyone gone through a refurbished touch pro2 replacement?

my keyboard stopped working, and they aren't able to repair it and sprint ordered me a replacement.

the refurbished one came in, and i noticed the color difference in the screen output. my old phone had a blueish tint to it, while the refurbished one has a more warm yellow tint. there is also some cosmetic damage to the refurbished one which makes me unhappy.

anyone else go through a refurbished one? if so, how has it worked out for you so far?

also, for those who have a refurbished ... what date was your phone manufactured... the one i got says 9/2009.

I go to a non-corporate store, and they have always given me a new-in-box replacement. How did you manage to get a refurb?

Do you have TEP?

As far as your situation, I have had refurbs of my TP1 that had the yellowish tint, but the cosmetic damage is unforgivable. I'd request a new one immediately.

Yeah, they're supposed to put new casing on all the refurbs so they appear brand new. I have a refurb that I've been using for about 5 months & it looked perfect & new when I got it.

my tp2 was a replacement from the start i upgraded from the tp1 when it was blacklisted and got my refurbed tp2 for free mine was like new though it had no damage whatsoever and has worked wonderfully for me so i have no complaints thus far about sprints refurbs i had went through a few tp1s before this but i just chocked that up to the tp1 being a lesser quality phone so you should be ok. i would say something to sprint about yours being damaged though

non corporate store? how would i find one like that?

i got the refurb b/c my keyboard on my phone stopped working, and they weren't able to fix the problem with a replacement keyboard. so they said they had to order a replacement.

I just sold one on here recently and it looked absolutely primo. No chips or any damage whatsoever. The build was in Nov I think? I go to a non corp store for any warranty stuff and have zero issues. However they order refurbs for me, not BNIB. I got my current TP2 BNIB for free from retentions in December. The refurb was for my tweaked TP1.
