Re: what r the diff web browsers for TP2, and which is the best?

thanks for all the replies. the only thing with IE is every time i google something it always redirects my search saying its not trusted or something like that. anyways i like opera 10, nice zoom options, plenty of tabs and alot of settings plus i like the fact that when i download something it alows me to min. it also i can look at past downloads.

I mainly use UCweb 7 and Opera Mini 4.2 and once in a while skyfire.

I too am a heavy UCWeb 7 user. Absolutely love the "night" feature which adjusts screen brightness for less eye strain. Very kewl.

This.

Opera Mini 5 = unparalleled in terms of quick, convenient browsing.

I totally agree, but don't you have the problem where google redirects everything when you use IE for some reason??

I don't have that annoying problem with Opera (although I'm not sure why it would be any different??)

My vote has to go to opera mini 4.2. I don't like opera mini 5 because it has a problem with loading blank pages. Especially with facebook mobile. About 90% of the time i try to read the comments on someone's status, it just loads a blank page. Opera mini 4.2 never lets me down

I dont use IE anymore but I think I had this problem also. I think it is a google setting problem and not an IE problem. What I did was set IE to view as mobile and not desktop. Then I went to google.com and when it loaded clicked on settings under the search bar. Then clicked on format web pages for your phone to off and then saved. Believe that solved the redirect issue.

I use OperaMini pretty much all the time now. Wish there was a way to remove IE. Its just wasting space for me now.

Re: what r the diff web browsers for TP2, and which is the best?

Thanks for the info mcop10, I'll give that a try.

I use OperaMini also, but as sebo said IE is definitely faster to just do a simple Google search, I never use it for anything else.

Mini 4.2 was my all time favorite browser for a long time but it's not perfect either.

I had constant problems where it would not connect to a link I had clicked on & simply reloaded the current page instead (it did it constantly on PPCGEEKS). A lot of other people reported the same thing & there was no fix ever posted for that bug.
