Email Download Issue

Has anyone experienced an issue with emails not downloading? A few weeks ago I went to download my emails and it failed to download all of them. I checked all my settings and what not and tried a few more times but it never downloaded everything and came up with a message saying all messages could not be downloaded after trying to download for awhile. I now have a new phone and the same issue is going on. Is it possible there is a corrupt email preventing it from downloading all older messages?

i thought you could only download a few days worth of emails?

Nope, it depends on the option one selects. It can be set to download the last 3, 5, 7, or all.

Anyone have any clue on this?

have you tried using Wifi only (disabling data connection), and then tring to get your mail

I just tried using Wifi, unfortunately it still did not download everything.

yea thats weird. i remember once i accidently chose download all. i had 1800 emails. worst time

i had a problem like this about a month ago, after a hard reset i would set up yahoo 1 for personal and 1 work. and i would get a email before i would even hit the send receive button. it was some microsoft email. i didn't have msmyphone installed.
and i would look on my pc for the email threw yahoo and it wasn't there even though it was on my phone. i still don't know what it was.

but around this same time i had data connection (speed) issues

everybody gets that one email. ive never left it there long enough to see if it shows up in the inbox on a pc.
