Fix timestamp with the camera?

In my phone setting I have the time to be set and standard and not the 24 hour mode. But when i use the timestamp feature on the camera it shows up in 24/hr mode. Is there a way possibly in the registry somewhere to change the time stamp to the normal am/pm mode?
