yeah if you're on sero you should at least try. Like the op said you have to select 9.99 a month or 2.99 for daily use to continue. if that option pops up then it will not be free for you and just close the program.

Re: Sprint Nav free with SERO plan?

imo the best one to use is the latest sprint branded telenav. ill post it here. it has never asked me to commit to charges or a pin number or anything through numerous custom roms.

I'll try that later tonight - I'm using Calkulins Kitchen which is the same version as the cab, I'll recook without the cab and try it that way.

I just did another hard reset, first use it went right through no prompt, I exited out and went right back in, it did the $2.99/9.99 prompt on the second use

Re: Sprint Nav free with SERO plan?

Ok this is weird.

I went a week using the sprintnavi cab posted by austin420 without getting asked to commit to charges, then one day i got the prompt. I rebooted, tried again, got the prompt again. Left it alone for a couple days, tried it again, and worked for the next 4 days or so without getting the prompt. Now I got the prompt asking me to pay again.

What gives??

Re: Sprint Nav free with SERO plan?

Im on SERO, using Energy ROM...I just installed and fired it up, never got prompt about charges. I'll use it randomly over the next few days and see if it works.

Re: Sprint Nav free with SERO plan?

austin420

I'm on SERO, running Energy ROM.

The first time I got the prompt about the charges, I was roaming, so I thought that had something to do with it. But now I'm certainly not roaming, and the prompt for the charges has popped up again.

Re: Sprint Nav free with SERO plan?

when you first install a rom you get a "free trial" then it ask you to subscribe.. some people have figured out how to continue the trial indefinitely iirc, but we can't talk about it so don't ask.
