Why do people like using Swype? It seems more complicated than useful.

Yep, give me phone keypad with XT9 and I can type faster than Swype, or a full KB. Only phone I think I typed faster was with a BB Pearl, yep a PEARL with Suretype was amazing

I have to agree, I have been using swype when I don't feel like messing with the keyboard and I really like. Besides have to get used to it for when I get that 4G evo that coming out lol

there is no use arguing, swype broke the world typing record a couple of weeks ago. So therefore swype wins for now.

by a Swype employee.....I think thats slightly unfair. Also the record he "broke" never had an entry before. Guinness now seperates KB types. He could have taken 20 minutes and broke it

touche, but honestly that doesn't matter. The swype employee beat the world record, so the t9 or xt9 employee should try as well.
