hold down the keyboard icon on your phone (on the bottom, in the middle) and it should pop up a menu of choices, swype should be in there.

when the keyboard pops up, there's the little downward-pointing arrow next to the keyboard option in the middle of the bottom, tap that, swype is there :).

What's with the one80oneday in the cab file that was just posted? What version of Swype is that? The one ripped from the Omnia?

i pulled it from this thread. there's a newer version that came with the tmobile hd2 update, but don't use it yet because it's from the leaked rom and buggy as hell (you'll see some post from xda). the official tmo hd2 update comes out the 18th, i would wait til then.

when swype had an update...(with bigger keys..and better word prediction) it didn't play well with ANY other device other than the HD2. Also, Swype got wind of their program being passed around...and in fact posted HERE in PPC geeks to "ask" us to stop passing their work around. In fact, they promised to release something for everyone to use.

Anyhow, the one80oneday version had some fixes in it because some of the custom ROM's didn't play well with the "first" swype rip. Hope this helps.

I installed the following cab on my tmobile TP2: Swype-3.9.10.10.5032.CAB and it works great. The only issue I'm having is that it freezes my phone constantly. So I have to do a soft reset each time it does it, which is no big deal to me. Any ideas on how to avoid the constant freezing?
