I just bought SlideIT ($7.99) and to tell the truth, it took me 3 times longed to type a paragraph with it. It kept misspelling what I was trying to type, I know I wasted the $8 but I figured that demo versions are most of the time limited on what they do that I will pay for the full version if it is cheap enough. Too bad I can't pass it along... :disgust:

You know with android you have 24hrs to uninstall and they will refund your money, as long as its the 1st time you purchased that app.

And this means what? I should toss my TP2 in the trash, cancel my contract with USCC, pay the $175 cancellation fee X 3 phones and buy a Android phone? ](*,) (Wish I had the $$) Well will have to wait till 2012 to do that, and even if I wanted the Android phone, I won't leave USCC, I have tried the rest, been with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Actually I liked T-Mobile too, but USCC had a better selection of phones when I switched to USCC. So far I have had no problems with USCC, always there, and a nationwide plan. :headbang:

Swype rocks. I thought I would be a TouchPal guy forever but once you get used to Swype-ing theres nothing like it. You obviously have to know where the letters are on the keyboard to get real speedy Swyping going on.

Hands down i prefer the slide out but one handed while driving or something Swype can't be beat. I like that you can just be close and it still guesses right.

***Had to come back and edit after i decided to read waaaaay back, the driving thing was a joke but people actually were scolding texting drivers! Funny stuff, funny stuff! ***

Swype is awesome it just takes some getting use to, quicker and easier imo.
is there a way to make it the Default typing system.

you can probably get a refund if you bought it through handango or skymarket. I complained about a t.v. app I bought that wouldn't connect to any of the stations and got a refund a few days later. this was through handango.

try this
install cab, then run app and set swype as default
works on my sprint stock 6.5
hope it works for ya...could be my first help...hahaha

and i hated swype at first too...but the more you use it, the more awesome it becomes.
i am so fast with it now...i dont know how i went without it.
i still use my slide out, but in a pinch, one handed, swype is the bomb.

Actually I bought it through the creators, who did refund my money. With the comment :angry1: "Next time try the Demo... Why you purchase it if you don't like it ??? Please don't use it again." :???: I purchased it because 99% of the trial versions I have tried are limited and it is more discouraging if you can't use it to the full potential. But they refunded it and I deleted it off my computer so I no longer have a copy. The new ROM I have installed has Swype built in, and it is a newer version then the one I had. :headbang:
