I'm on the final version from Opera.com (not a repack). I'll try re-installing it. I didn't know I was the only one, must be glitch.

You're not the only one, it happens to me too. Some search has uncovered the double backspace as a known problem in previous versions, but I did not see a solution, I am interested in one.
