DESPARATELY need help with TURNING OFF ringtones during call

hello everyone,

i'm experiencing a big problem. whenever i'm on a call whether it be via speakerphone or handset to my ear, i'm having issues with ringtones being played while i'm on that call...

incoming text ringtones will ACTUALLY PLAY during my call

PLEASE help me turn this off.
it's horrible i hate it and aaaaaaah i'm going nutz here.

i had the same problem

there are few other threads addressing this issue..

this is what i did
"i hate the notification too. the default tone was loud and the caller could hear it as well.

i changed the ringtone by editing the registry. i am sure you could just delete the tone all together as well.

HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/InCallBuzz

I changed the Sound value from Notify.wma to Default.wma
So now it just beeps 3 times when a text comes in while on a call. "

I remember that. Didnt work for me. I turn off notifications when I get a call.

any way to turn off all sounds during a call?

i dont think you can automatically disable the sound everytime you get a call.

the fix i used makes it a bit more tolerable. hopefully someone finds the fix we all need!!!

Odd never had this happen yet on both 6.1 nor 6.5.
I couldn't even replicate if I try.

Is there a option to do notification on during calls?

Did you go to Settings, Sounds and Notifications, and deselect "Events", "Programs" and "Notifications". I am not sure because I can't replicate you problem but I think this will do it. Curious to know the answer.
