I have soft reset many times --- the problem is recurring and really annoying. I'm losing contact 2 and 4 and sometimes 1.

Did you hard reset right after loading the updated Sprint ROM? May be time for a hard reset regardless..

I saw a post on XDA regarding this...I believe the issue was the number was being synced somehow and it was overwritting the favorite contact information when it did so.

I have been having this issue since I flashed. I am also having the issue with the new Mr X rom, which is based off the sprint rom. Knock on wood, it has not happened in a while.
