Re: digit dial readout for tp2??
Thank you very much. That is exactly what i was talking about. Feel silly now knowing that the tp2 actually had that function, although i dont know that i like it now. My wifes phone just announces who you have the text from and then its followed by the sms sound. Tp2 announces who its from and then immediatly says the content of the message too while at the same time playing the sms sound so it ends up been just a jumbled combination of voice and beeps. Worth a try though. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction!

Re: digit dial readout for tp2??
Since I discovered it, I use Voice Command as my ONLY sound option; I've taken off ringtones because I place my phone aside, and now I no longer have to look at it to see who's calling. Extrememly useful for someone like me.
Question though: I had it on for texts as well, but not only did it read who the text was from, it started to read the entire text message. When at work, that can get very annoying. Is there a way to have it only read the sender, and not the message; can they be seperated? Or is it a bundle deal only? TIA.

Re: digit dial readout for tp2??
I was wondering the same thing. I might use it if it only announced the sender. How embarrassing if you happend to get a txt about someone and they are sitting next to you while your phone reads it out loud.
