I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2, the reason I am mentioning this is because my stock ROM is very responsive with no lag. It is very doable to flash the ROM on any TP2 to make it snappy.
I am a bit surprised to hear the stock ROMs on other carriers have been lagging, but I agree with all the comments posted on this thread.

I'm planning to work on it a bit this weekend. I did run the ram sweeper and it took my memory usage from upper 80's to low 60's. That was a noticable improvement but sounds like it could still be a lot better.
I'm sold on a ROM flash!

Sprint Touch Pro 2 newbie here as of an hour ago! Currently downloading the stock Sprint 6.5 upgrade and reading up on which custom ROMs to look into. I previously had the Touch Diamond and have been hooked on NRG's ROMs for that phone. Tried MightyROM briefly on the Touch Diamond but didn't stick with it for too long.
Aside from MightROM, which other TP2 ROMs are the most popular here?
