I think it will be a waste to use Sprint Roaming(unless there is a reason) while our TP2 is a world wide phone and can take any GSM sim outside of the US only by changing a setting and popping a SIM in it. That is what I do, that is what I HAVE been doing

Yeah, I'd think the best way to go would be to get a SIM from a carrier there. Since the TP2 takes international SIMs, it shouldn't be too tough to make work. I would be clueless on how much it would cost you to call back to the states though. Maybe if you also had an international calling card that you used? Maybe someone else can shed some light on the cost to make a call from another country to the US.
