Hmm, mine stops also. I've got stock Sprint 6.1 with almost no customizations. Here's what I have installed, I haven't tried uninstalling anything yet:
Pandora
Google Maps
Skyfire
Total Commander
scuccia wifi_on_standby
.net 3.5
PHM Reg Editor
LilRico Purple Volume Control (Anyone have a blue one?)
Smaberg Powerbutton
TomTom
Barguast Groovefish (doesn't work, uninstalling now)
Slacker
Macromedia Flash Player

I'm moving to 6.5 or a custom ROM soon, but it would be good to figure this out before I install something I don't need.

No problems here either. Im running latest Mr. X rom. Ive been running it pretty much non stop at work and it seems to run smooth all day.

Is this program usually picky with bluetooth? It works with my Motorola S9 headphones, albeit with a bit of audio stuttering, but it won't work with my car's bluetooth stereo at all (audio from phone calls/YouTube/etc. plays through the car's system but Slacker still just plays through speakerphone).

Mine stopped once and hasn't since then - first and only time was during a drive home from work, while using over bluetooth to my car stereo. I wonder if it chokes if you're Slackering, bluetoothing, and then someone calls or texts you? Probably not since calls and text are 1x and Slacker would be over EVDO, right?

Otherwise, no stops or problems...

i love slacker - songs froze up on me the other day, but a press of pause and play started it up again. it sounds WAY better than the FM radio in my car...

The only problem with slacker is that sometimes when you turn off the screen with the power button, the music pauses. If you change it to just turn off the screen, it plays fine. Funny thing is that sometimes when you hit the off button, it continues to play fine

Yeah, usually when I tap the power button to turn the screen off, I get a quarter-second hiccup in the song, but no problems after that. Otherwise, it seems like when Slacker's playing, the screen will dim but not ever idle and turn off - which I can imagine sucks the battery dry if you don't have it plugged into external power on a car ride.

ok after using both slacker and pandora in my car using the 3.5mm plug, i must say that slacker is a little better than pandora in sound quality and much better to press onscreen buttons. I still think pandora plays a better selection, but slacker seems to build a playlist that will resume the next time you open the app.
I was all planning on getting the BT adapter for my pioneer dvd stereo, but I think the 3.5mm cord is the way to go. too many issues with BT playing nice with other devices. My wife even says that I am clearer using this method than my BT. not too mention I can hear everyone in surround sound!!!
