Turn the virtual keyboard off in landscape

I can't seem to do it in Sprint Nav. Makes me want to throw the phone out the window because it sucks nazis thru vacuum cleaners.

I just want to have the physical keyboard. Even when the virtual keyboard is on and you click the keyboard icon it just laughs at you and throws up the menu and then back to the virtual keyboard.
