Pulled Sim card, Now I Can't see signal strength

I pulled my sim card out of my sprint tp2 to try android. With the sim card out, I can't see the signal strength bars. I've seen people say that the sim card isn't need unless you are going out of country. So, I was gonna leave mine out, but I have the no sim card icon on my taskbar. Can or is there a way to get rid of this icon and get my bars back other than inserting the sim card?

Re: Pulled Sim card, Now I Can't see signal strength

give him a break.

I think he is on stock 6.5 sprint rom, running a custom tsowen or gagetfreak taskbar. He wants sim out without icon. how do you do it?

Sorry it took so long to reply, but yes, it was a tsowens taskbar that was the culprit. Uninstalled and everything is fine.

Thanks

Re: Pulled Sim card, Now I Can't see signal strength

theres a mighty cab out that will change it back to the original stock signal and keeps everything else custom.not very pretty but better then a dumb no sim card icon.

lmk if you want it even though you uninstalled
