Gmail POP access in WM6.5 (Sprint Stock ROM) not working

Hi Guys,
I am new to the TP2 world (just migrated from Mogul yesterday). Have spent a good 2 days to set up TP2 for all the Mogul/WM tricks. Fortunately for me, the WM6.5 ROM was released the same day I purchased the phone and the first thing I did was to upgrade the ROM.

For some reason, my Gmail (configured for POP access) does not seem to find any new messages in Inbox. I have configured Gmail with STD POP/SMTP settings. The send works fine and receive does not give any error. Just that it cant find any messages (There are a few many unread messages in my Inbox). I have set it up to pull messages for the last 3 days.

Any clues?
