Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50369; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

Better reception at home and office, also around town as well.

Thank you Sprint!

I have a new found respect for this radio. A resturant we frequent my phone would always go to no signal or the triangle icon, but last night I had one-two bars. I was able to send-receive texts and surf the web...So for me this radio is an improvement.

Re: Sprint radio 2.32 Differences (TP2)

ADD: I'm actually amazed at this new radio! After a few days, I'm noticing all around better signal everywhere. I'm now getting full bars at places I've only had 2-3. So all in all, this radio is a HUGE improvement for me. I would highly recommend at least trying it out.

Re: Sprint radio 2.32 Differences (TP2)

I imagine you could just flash the new sprint rom to get the radio too, then reflash your custom. scratch that... too many extra steps! ha

Re: Sprint radio 2.32 Differences (TP2)

I never go by the bars... as they could have changed the scale just to make things look better. I always look at the true numbers on the ##DEBUG# screen.

I haven't noticed much difference at all. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I would also flash the latest stock ROM to grab the new PRI along with the radio. Then flash to whatever custom ROM you want.

Be careful though... the stock ROM comes with the horrible 60660 PRL. 60660 and 60662 have horrible channel acq tables that cause your phone to scan and even try to connect to VZW EV signals. Kills my battery real quick. I can always tell when my phone auto upgrades since the battery starts dropping like a rock and the data starts stalling all the time. I put PRL 60659 on and all is good after that.
