SPEED. How do I get it with the NEW Sprint 6.5 OEM ROM?

I'm sorry. I'm not an expert, nor do I want to be.
So, I'm not willing to go to a custom ROM.... yet.

ALL I want is for my TP2 to go as FAST as possible with the new 6.5 ROM.

Any help would be appreciated.

I started a new thread because the ROM is brand NEW, so now the question is new as well.

I don't know what to say... too many new threads of pretty much already answered questions, just for starters install a task manager.

task manager is found in this thread, post number 4.

there is curerntly no cab i know of that will make it any faster, in my point of view is already fast

edit: not trying to sound mean but I've been posting a lot today lol since i woke up... my hands are dead tired/annoyed of typing same things over n ever so please do read in the threads out there....

Keep it stock, and erase what you don't use "nascar, nfl, sprint tv, etc" do some RAM Cleanup's & Soft Resets occasionally and you'll be good..

How does removing unused programs increase speed?
How do you remove them?

Also, I've read some talk of manipulating "spools" to increase speed?

How does that increase speed?
How doe you manipulate the "spools"?

I would wait until tonite when GoodThings2Life releases his clean up cab for the new Sprint ROM

turning off sense will speed things up considerably.

UPDATE:
Even after I removed the JD task manager, the "slide to unlock" is STILL there.
So, I reinstalled the JD task manager.

Is there any way to remove the "slide to unlock" ????
It's driving me nuts.

What slide to unlock are you talking about?

This one?...

If you want to disable that one you'll have to go back to Windows Mobile 6.1. Early 6.5 builds let you change back in Lock settings, but that isn't the case anymore... This was caked in by Microsoft and IMHO is the most useful feature in 6.5.
