Nope, the phone uses a magnet to sense when the keyboard is pulled out and wakes up the phone. Using a screen locking program is the only thing that may help you. I use TouchLockPro for unwanted wake-ups. A little confusing to configure but worth it.

Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update
You could try the cab I'm attaching to this post. It keeps the phone from waking up when you slide open the keyboard. Since that is controlled by a magnet, your phone will no longer wake up when a magnet passes by (in your case in this instance).
The problem I've run into is this: with Sense 2.5, it seems to cause something weird to happen whereby the entire Manila interface disappears when you turn it back on coming out of the magnetic case. You can press the end key on your phone and it'll pop back up, but it's been a slightly irritating issue. It isn't isolated to any specific ROM, as every one I've tried going back 3 weeks has the issue when I use this cab. However, the cab is there anyways in case you want to use it. |

This is happening to me also. Any ideas on what to do, or whether to do anything, about it?

There's a setting to turn off error reporting that probably does it -- poke around on the settings tab.
I'm also occasionally getting this error. I think it may have to do with application incompatibility ... some suspects: - When I installed the "change screen orientation" utility from XDA, it started crashing a lot. - Upon restarting from a Sprite Backup process, I got the services.exe error, but I haven't seen it in the past couple runs - I thought maybe AEBplus had something to do with it but again, haven't seen it recently. |
