Re: Offical Bugs List with Sprint Touch Pro 2 - WinMob. 6.5 Update

Since I've flashed the new ROM, I get an error message whenever I do a soft reset. It flashes too quickly for me to read the entire thing, but its says along the lines "dialed #7777, could not connect...." then it has a dismiss button. Any ideas what this is and how to correct it?

I'm probably going to get a reputation as a nosy nellie but the Verizon phones started doing the same thing after the 6.5 update (didn't do it before). I'm personally pretty sure it's a race condition between the radio shutting down and the OS not realizing it and trying to dial out just before it reboots. Again, I'm on Verizon but mine started doing it immediately after the 6.5 flash and does it maybe 85% of the time.

This is normal...my phone has done that since day 1....Basically its the system doing a dial out to the sprint/verizon servers to get a data connection...yea its weird but nothing to be alarmed about.

I believe that's just the radio disconnecting as the phone shuts down. Mine does it too. I got the message in 6.1 sometimes as well. Seems normal to me. It's just that the alert that the connection was lost is quicker in 6.5 or happens sooner in the shut down process.
