Sprint 6.5 UPDATE a disappointment!!!

how can it only by 6.5????
and why are so many of y'all excited by this? I stopped using sense when it would freeze up my phone half the times I tried to use skyfire, so i don't care about sense 2.5 or 2.1.
they have had a couple months to get this right and still screwed the pooch. guess i'll stick to cooking my own for now.


p.s. there, now i made it a poll. does that make it better for y'all?

why??? because sprint released an old ROM with new UI and I'm supposed to be happy about it?

Please leave any negative comments to yourself. There are thousands of PPCGeeks who are so hyped up about this subject, and for you to create a thread enclosing your complete dislike about it, even though it has only been out for 45 minutes, is completely ridiculous. If anything, post your thoughts in a pre-existing thread, not a new one.

I think he is only mad because it wasn't 6.5.x.... leave that to the skilled chefs bro... Sprint did a good job, some flaws, overall though it was a good result, why sure you have a right to post here, this is not the sprint forum board for this take it over the official sprint forums if you want you're voice to be heard.

wouldn't let me thank you, but yeah. i was wanting stock 6.5.x that i could turn sense off and run mobile shell on top of, and get away from flashing for awhile. i am looking at getting my wife a tp2 and she won't want to be dealing with the flash game and it will confuse her if my phone is different from hers.

i showed her the nexus one and supersonic since sprint are getting those, but since she uses her nails to type, she doesn't want a touch screen only phone (capacitive one that is). she has an instinct s30 right now, but is always playing games on my phone now, and i get up for work with a dead battery!!!

listen y'all. sorry, but i've been looking forward to a stock 6.5.x ROM from sprint for a couple of months now.
now it looks like i'll be on to a wimax wm6.5.x phone before sprint ever does this update, if they ever do....
I can't be the only one that is disappointed in this.

No worries though, will just have to keep cooking....
