I still have rotation on my phone as well. And G-config gives an error on loading. Any other ideas? I'd love to figure this out.

Does g-config just crash, or is there an error message?

If so, please provide the message.

You could try editing your registry and deleting all the values in these keys:

HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName

Yes. I removed the setup.dll from the package. This used to run the code that set the default browser options, but also prompted you and got in the way of unattended installs like UC, XDA_UC, and Sashimi.

Because of this and the way certain registry entries work, installing to the storage card will cause the link and file handling to stop working. These can be fixed by hand, but that is an entirely different question. You can extract my package and look at the registry entries written in the _SETUP.XML file if you like.

i get rotation with any version, i hate that, so ive stopped installing this until i can get a copy that will not auto rotate

The rotation must already be in your ROM. What are you using?

You can clear the setting (assuming you are using HTC rotation) by deleting the appropriate keys here:

HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName
 
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList

Look for anything the values: Opera10-armv4i.exe or OM10-ML-MainWndClass as part of the string.

what language are you running? depending on the language, the program files folder will be named differently.

If you give me the name of the folder on your phone,I can tell you the changes you need to make.
