If this is Calendar data, then you're probably talking about all-day events. I use leading spaces to control in what order all-day events appear.
In general, though, why use the calendar for what in your case sounds like a to-do list? Isn't that what Tasks is for? |

There are several aftermarket solutions for this. I dislike all of them, but I don't do anything that's task-driven in a way that would make seeing tasks on my home screen of any use.
One product is TodayAgenda. Another is SPB Diary (not Mobile Shell). There's also SBSH Pocket Breeze. |
