HTC Touch Pro 2 is constantly crashing

I've had this phone for awhile now, and I was playing around with it yesterday (Friday) by loading up Android on my SD card. This is a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2. I've loaded up Android before and it was fine, I was just trying out new versions/kernels. Anyway, I got Android up, and I was trying to get 3G going, so one of the things I tried was removing the SIM card and putting it back in.

I'm not sure if it was loading up Android or removing the SIM card that did it, but ever since my phone (in Windows) has been crashing constantly. It just suddenly shuts off. It seems like it mostly happens whenever I slide out/in the keyboard. I've tried taking the SIM card back out and its still crashing constantly. I did a hard reset on Windows (to factory default), thought for sure it would fix it, and it didn't, its still crashing. Did I manage to screw something up really badly? I don't think its Windows anymore since the hard reset didn't work, the only thing I can think of is maybe I broke something when I removed the SIM card.

Thoughts?

Have you tried reflashing the stock rom?

i dont think taking out the sim did it. now depending on where paste certain android files meaning to sd or device memory might another story.

but then again i dont think it android crashing your phone. custom roms have those side effects.

worst case flash back to stock, relock it and carrier tech center. ending in you getting it replaced.

Well I'm still running the stock rom, I have never flashed it. Considered it, but never flashed it. Is it easy enough to find the stock Sprint ROM on the net?

Can booting into Android through Haret cause power/battery issues? Upon further investigation it sort of looks like its not crashing when plugged into power.

stock rom can be found in the upgrage section

mines been doing the EXACT SAME THING..i loaded android on my last rom..didnt like it because it was messing with my backlight timeout on mightyrom so i f.i flash danced and thats when it started powering down when i pulled the keyboard out sometimes!! im running mighty 2.1 rom...

edit: now i did bend the battery contacts a little bit to make the connection with the battery "tighter" and it doesnt seem to be doing it any times today...

edit 2: actually i may have just done a clear storage after i had the issue...i probably should have gone back to stock this was probably my issue all along...
