Sorry to hear you're having troubles with Freda. Generally it works just fine with converted PDFs - so I guess you're experiencing a bug of some kind.
Please email me an example EPUB file that is giving you problems and I will investigate (home@jim-chapman.net). Please also check that you're using an up to date version (various download sites are carrying copies of earlier Freda versions - even, in some cases, the initial beta release). Right now, the latest version is 1.1 (build 804) - so if you have anything else, please download an update from my dropbox (via the download link from http://www.jim-chapman.net/freda). Thanks, Jim |

Freda is good - I recommend Stanza to convert your unprotected PDFs to ePub and they work beautifully in Freda.
