If you want to fake it just make a background picture and use it for the unlocker that says input finger here and scanning...easy to do with a little photoshop...will look like a real finger scanner to anyone who doesn't know.

If you were looking for a device with the built in thump print recognition, here is your best bet. It may be old, but your best bet because it is made by HTC. I know there are others out there as well including the Devices built by HTC for this years Census. Although it would make modern Devices allot bigger, I kinda would like this kind of technology on a modern Device like a HTC HD3 or HTC Touch Pro3.

This thread reminds me of an old program for Palm where it pretends to scan your finger. The only way to unlock it was to press up before you tapped the screen, so you could use it to trick your friends.
