bad video quality

Hi there. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what is wrong with my video quality. I'm trying to take videos of our new baby, and the quality is pretty bad. it's all blocky and pixelated. I have the resolution set to VGA which is the highest available, and the format is MP4 which I think it always is. I've taken videos with my phone before (probably several ROM's ago) and I never had any problems. Do I need to install a cab or change a registry entry or something?

Re: bad video quality

Same here I think the issue is not the Optical sensor (can't remember technical name at the moment starts with a C, I think(not camera..lol)) but rather the video is likely not given enough bitrate so that users of slow sd cards don't get stuttered video from not being able to write to the card quickly enough. Unfortunately I don't think we are going to get multipass encoding at 3MP as kick tail as that would be. Put your capture format as H.264 as that is the most efficient codec there and in my experience yields the best video quality. Hope this helps
