Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

For some reason, my battery life has gotten considerably worse. It drops 20% for a short phone call. I have a feeling it might have to do with my reception getting worse. I have many of the fixes installed.

I am going to try to reflash and see what happens. Also, later this week I am getting an AIRAVE to improve my signal quality. I will report back what happens.

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Just out of curiosity, do any of you charge through your computer? Cuz I think a computer trickle charges, which won't be as potent as a wall charge lol but from my experience I have noticed more of a drain when using a computer USB charge instead of a wall charge, the thing is that it under or over charges usually, so your battery will read 100% but it will actually be in the 80's

Installed shaolin BatterySaver.cab (Face Down Mute Ring Disable)
Installed the nuebattery2TP2CDMA-122-v1.2.cab (battery driver)
NRG.Rom.Sprint.MMS.Settings-Boushh

then the usual below:

Installed the doc indexer diable
Installed ICS and Wmodem Fix
Keyboard Fix
audio para

I installed all of the above cabs on Saturday afternoon (round 3pm) after a fresh flash and I haven't had to charge my battery yet. It is currently at 70% after a few text messages and phone calls. The battery decreases at 10%percent intervals. This is the longest I've ever gone without a charge. I will continue to monitor the battery all day today until it completely drains. Im hoping to prove that it the battery reading is true and not displaying a false percentage number.

I have had good luck with setting the battery polling to 10000.

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

I have found something that may be responsible for my recent horrible battery life. It looks like when Sprint updated the PRL from 60659 to 60660 they added something that the phone will scan a bunch more channels. It kills battery life to my understanding. I am going to apply the 60659 PRL and see what happens.

Obviously, Sprint only.

After using 60659 for a few days, there is a definite increase in battery performance.
